INGREDIENTS

STEP-BY-STEP COOKING RECIPE
Step 1
Peel the onion and garlic, chop the onion in a food processor. Chop the parsley and garlic very finely. Peel the almonds and place for 5-7 minutes. in an oven preheated to 160 ° C.
Step 2
In a bowl, combine the minced meat, onion, parsley, garlic, olive oil, pepper and salt. Stir well, cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 40 minutes.
Step 3
Prepare the sauce. Grate the tomatoes. Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices. Cut the leeks into thin rings. Heat oil in a saucepan or deep frying pan and fry the onion over low heat until transparent, 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 3 more minutes. Put tomatoes, sugar, salt and pepper in a saucepan, simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Roll minced meatballs about the size of a ping-pong ball. Press almonds into each.
Step 5
Fry the meatballs in olive oil on all sides, then pour over the tomato sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes. Serve with white rice, couscous or pasta.
